The annual "alphabet soup" process was completed on 1/16/2013. The Brown County land records files are processed by the County Property Listing and Information Services (the “alphabet soup” process) by late January or early February and are then sent to the municipal Assessors by February for their input. The Assessors will send their uploads back to the County by sometime in May, in time for each municipality's Board of Review. Some additional manufacturing property assessment data may come in after that (October, after the State sets them). Note that the County receives only basic assessment information back from the municipal assessors; the County does NOT receive back the full property sketches and characteristics such as age of home, number of bedrooms, etc.
